I was born and raised in India. A land where food was not just for nourishment but an important source of connection. It is the love language of the people and a sensory experience in the mouth. The produce was delivered to the door step and my mother hand-picked the veggies and fruits for the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had to be prepped and prepared. Yet my love and passion for cooking did not uncover until 10 years ago. Fresh whole foods meals brought back my vitality, health and love for life. The veggies, fruits and spices are filled with nutrients that inform our genes and predict health. The epigenetic effect is powerful. Food IS Medicine.
